Baby Asher's First Days

Here are a few more pictures of Asher's first days. The first is of his tummy time and learning how to hold his head up. The second picture is of him in his moccasins that Jason's friend/co-worker got him from Alaska. They are really beautiful and Asher seems to find them cozy and relaxing!

Happy 3rd Birthday Buddy!

Josiah turned 3 this week and despite having JUST had a baby, my mother-in-law helped me pull together a party, which would have been terrible without all of her help, just check out the robot birthday cake for proof.

Josiah decided that he wanted a robot themed birthday, so we made a robot cake, decorated the house robot-y, and Jason made a fabulous robot carnival style game. We had lots of friends and neighbors come by, and despite the rain we all squished in our tiny house and had fun!

Introducing Asher

Here he is....Asher John Bone, our precious little boy. Asher was born on June 24 and weighed 7lb 15 oz and measured 20 1/2 in. In case you are wondering why we named him Asher. Asher is a biblical name. A few weeks before he was born, Jason told me he had been kicking around a name, but wasn't sure. I told him how I had been praying specifically that our son would have joy in the Lord. That he would really enjoy and be happy in Christ. Jason told me that the name he had been thinking of was Asher which means happy. That was it for us. We absolutely love our new baby boy, his sister is in love with him, and Josiah is working on it, but he's struggled a bit more. Well, I can't believe it, I'm officially a mom of 3!
