Happy Birthday Take 2!
Isabel is officially 7 years old. She celebrated the day rock climbing and then came home to have a party with her friends. She deemed it a success, so I can say...phew!
All I want for my birthday....is to Rock Climb!
Isabel has been waiting to turn 7 and rock climb for years. We had thought that you had to be 7 to climb the rock wall at REI, then we found out the age is 8! Luckily at the rock climbing gym you can be 2 and rock climb, so we ordered a private belayer for Isabel and 3 of her friends (Josiah, Alice, and Elliot) and they went and had a blast!
Happy Birthday Take 1
You know how it goes with birthdays...you have to celebrate a few times before your really get tired of celebrating. Here we are celebrating with Carter and Macy, our friends from our Community.
Happy 8th Anniversary To Us!
8 long...and wonderful! years. Marriage does really get better and we are more in love than ever...really! This year, thanks to our friends Bonnie and Pierce, we got a weekend away. We went to Oregon to spend a few night in Portland and Mt. Hood. We had a great time snowshoeing around the mountain. Then we spent the evening in the city. We went to two different restaurants, the first night to the Rock a pizza chain restaurant. The next night we went to a FANCY italian restaurant. We liked the first much better...tells you our class lever. Ha!
Growing Up!
Our group of 3 is growing up and I just want to stop a moment and capture this time because they are getting too big too fast!

Children's Museum Fun!
Thank you to Grandma Kathi and Grandpa Tom who gave us the wonderful gift of a children's museum membership for Christmas. We can use it all year and now that we live a few blocks away, we will! Here are some pictures of us enjoying the fun.
Dude!
One of the biggest challenges (if you can call it that) of city living is not really being able to store or ride bikes. So we came up with a few fun and exciting options. Skateboardking and scootering. The kids love it and it is much more easy to manage with 3 kids on the busy streets.
