Spring Camping

Jason's taken up camping the last few months, just trying to get some time alone to pray and talk to God. This month we decided to extend his trip and join him for a second night. It was nice because he had everything all set up, we just had to join in the fun. The hike was great, there was so much for the kids to see and do, climb bridges, bug collect, pretend fish in the creek, and we even found a slide that nature had carved into an old fallen tree. The hike led to the beach where the kids were able to run and dig to their hearts content. That part was great, the not so great part was sleeping. My 30 year old, 8 month pregnant body didn't do so well, and I spent two days paying for it. I guess my dreams for one more camping trip before the baby comes are out the window!

Relaxing by the creek

Happy about catching a bug

Josiah super-excited about hiking

Making "compost" at the beach, my kids are so earth friendly!

For those of you who have been wondering how big I really am, this one's for you

Jason and Isabel making paper boats

I don't think Josiah actually ate a marshmallow, he just like putting a stick into the fire!
