What should we do today?

I know! Let's go to Mount Rainier. Definitely my kind of day with a spur of the moment trip to the awe-inspiring mountain within our view everyday. The kids were super excited, as was I for the spontaneity, as was Jason for relief from his allergies. ( a long car ride in the air conditioning helps him a lot) We had a wonderful time driving up the the highest drivable point...scary at times with no rail on he edge of a long drop! Snow was everywhere and when we go next time, we will definitely bring our sleds. The views were breathtaking. Then we traveled down lower to find a place to hike. Isabel counted over a 100 waterfalls along the way. All this done in less than a day, we are so blessed!

Josiah and his version of rock climbing

Crossing a bridge over a raging creek

Dressing up in the local foilage

The view from the drive

Asher loves hiking too!

The rest of the 6000 feet of Mount Rainier in the distance (we made it half way)

Snow when it is 70 degrees it wonderful

One of the mammoth deer we saw

And the baby bear we saw!
